Making Vintage Items Look New - From "Found" to Fabulous!

The Colorcraft Collection was born out of my many years of experience in the field of decorative painting. I began my journey at Catfish Studios where we carried the Annie Sloan line amidst a huge showroom of painted furniture and home decor.

After a successful run, I nevertheless moved on to pursue a career with a high-end design studio where I learned many new finishes, including gilding and Venetian plaster. But, after working for years with oil and latex paints in what was essentially difficult construction work, my journey came full circle, bringing me back to the Annie Sloan family.

Along the way I’ve discovered I have a natural ability for working with color, from matching a shade by hand-mixing paints, to choosing which colors work best together, making me more than happy to help my clients with the hardest part of using the Annie Sloan line of gorgeous paints – picking a color!

I’ve also always had a passion for repurposing quality vintage finds which dovetails nicely with The Colorcraft Collection’s mission. Indeed, I can help you repurpose whatever you’ve fallen out of love with – from that beloved but dated family heirloom to your own kitchen cabinets – or you can find something new-to-you here in the shop. My eye gravitates toward hand-made textiles and jewelry, vintage glass and pottery, interesting art pieces, and natural fiber clothing and leather goods, so stop by and check out the ever-changing inventory.

Beyond carrying the fabulous paints and tools, and sharing some curated pieces from my varied collection, I hope to host painting parties off-site and outdoor workshops in the milder months. Feel free to reach out with your own workshop idea!
